Peckforton Castle is the realisation of the dreams of one man. John Tollemache, MP for Cheshire, built this breath taking castle between 1844 and 1851. Standing atop a wooded hillside, its dramatic silhouette can be seen for miles across the Cheshire Plains. Today it is a magnificent Grade 1 listed building and architecturally recognised as the UK's truest representation of a medieval castle.
